Bakersfield Life Chain

Jesus encouraged us to shine His light like a city on a hill. In this season of darkness, with politicians wavering in their opposition to abortion, we still know that "Abortion Kills Children"! So our community needs to see that Christians are continuing to seek to protect and help vulnerable preborn children and their mothers.

The Life Chain is an opportunity for Christians to pray and witness for the sanctity of human life on the streets of downtown Bakersfield. We will stand along 23rd and 24th Streets (Highway 178) in downtown Bakersfield peacefully bearing messages of life and hope in Christ.

Each participating church will be assigned a specific meeting location for the Life Chain.

Signs will be provided (any other signs must first be approved by Tim or Terri Palmquist).
